This is another version of Our Lady’s sublime prayer, with a liturgical antiphon from Evening Prayer I of the Common of the Blessed Virgin Mary added in as a chorus.
In the name of the Father,
and of the Son,
and of the Holy Spirit.
Amen.My soul proclaims the greatness of the Lord,
my spirit rejoices in God my Savior,
who has looked with favor on his lowly servant.Blessed are you, oh virgin Mary,
for great is Your faith,
all that the Lord promised You
will come to pass through You.From this day all generations will call me blessed:
the Almighty has done great things for me,
and holy is his name.Blessed are you, oh virgin Mary,
for great is Your faith,
all that the Lord promised You
will come to pass through You.God has mercy on those who fear him,
from generation to generation.Blessed are you, oh virgin Mary,
for great is Your faith,
all that the Lord promised You
will come to pass through You.The Lord has shown strength with his arm
and scattered the proud in their conceit,
casting down the mighty from their thrones
and lifting up the lowly.Blessed are you, oh virgin Mary,
for great is Your faith,
all that the Lord promised You
will come to pass through You.God has filled the hungry with good things
and sent the rich away empty.Blessed are you, oh virgin Mary,
for great is Your faith,
all that the Lord promised You
will come to pass through You.He has come to the aid of his servant Israel,
to remember the promise of mercy,
the promise made to our forebears,
to Abraham and his children for ever.Blessed are you, oh virgin Mary,
for great is Your faith,
all that the Lord promised You
will come to pass through You.Glory to the Father, and to the Son,
and to the Holy Spirit:
as it was in the beginning, is now,
and will be for ever.Amen.
